Chuck Assembly

Using a high speed rotary stripping insert, which is precisely adjustable to match the diameter of the bare conductor, surface insulation is easily removed

The insert is held in a special adjustable chuck assembly which, when locked in position, allows precise repetitive stripping without risk of damage to the conductor

OPERATION

1. Simple Set-Up and Stripping Operation
2. Loosen the Chuck Assembly with the two wrenches provided
3. Place Stripping Insert into the chuck and hand tighten
4. Place the workpiece into the Insert and tighten Chuck Assembly with the wrenches provided so that the Insert closes but the workpiece can still be removed
5. Remove the workpiece and start the EC2
6. Strip the wire by pushing into the Stripping Insert and remove to examine
7. If insulation is not completely removed, switch off EC2, tighten Chuck Assembly and repeat stripping operation
