The KODERA Castugnons

The Kodera Corperation have added two new models the C453 and C455 to their fully programmable range of Castugnon Automatic cable cutting, stripping and terminating /tinning machines to ensure that all current customer demands can be met at prices that are both realistic and affordable.

All of the Castugnon machines are an extension of the Castings range of programmable cutting and stripping machines highly regarded throughout the industry for their accuracy, reliability and versatility, using existing designs and technology that has been thoroughly developed and proven. The machines accommodate the European industry standard terminal crimping tool with the use of adapter plates and are supplied fully guarded with CE approvals as standard, all that is required is a 13 A socket and a small air supply.

The Castugnon range comprises of:

• The Castugnon C450 for single ended crimping
• The Castugnon C451A for single or double ended crimping
• The Castugnon C450TS for single ended crimping with twisting and tinning or the crimping press can be replaced and double ended twisting and tinning can be achieved at amazing speeds.
• The Castugnon C453 for double ended terminating or by the simple change of a programme (approx. 10 Seconds) terminating one end and cable twisting and tinning at the other. The proven design enables programmable control of both the fluxing and tinning operation, with respect to the time, speed and positioning of the cable enabling the penetration of the tinned conductors to be adjusted at 0.1mm increments from 0.1mm up to 30mm.
• The Castugnon C455 specifically designed for the automotive industry enabling single or double ended terminating incorporating the automatic feeding, locating and terminating the Weatherseal in the desired position.

All of the Castugnon machines are fitted as standard with two sets of programmable sensors for checking both the cables insulation's have been removed before terminal crimping and the presence of the terminals crimped to the cable after the crimping operation.

With addition of the extensive range of Castugnon attachments catering for mid-stripping, cable bundling, collecting, pre-feeding enabling high speed quality production with the minimum of operator participation.

		SMART MACHANISM DRASTICALLY REDUCES PREPARATION TIME The acme proven CASTING mechanism, when a single pair of vertical blades cuts and strips the wire, is used. Just enter the numeric parameters on the keypad. Changing an applicator only requires one touch of a button. The large memory allows you to store information for up to 500 different jobs and to recall this data at anytime for immediate production. All these features help shorten the preparation time when changing jobs.
		STRIPPING AND CRIMPING SENSORS KODERA's highly developed revolutionary detection sensors stop the machine when poorly cut cores or insulation are detected during stripping. These levels of detection can be set during crimping to combat core abnormalities and miscrimping. The C451A/C453/C455/C457 can sort out and discard bad wires from good ones without halting production. If three wires with the same problem are detected in a row, the machine will stop to allow you to investigate and correct the problem.
