The New Kodera CASTUGNON C551

The CASTUGNON C551 was developed based on the concept of simple & compact started from its appearance. Downsized press is designed simply. In spite of its compact body, it has the crimping capacity of as much as 3 tons, which exceeds the C451 A. We equipped this machine with "automatic adjustment of crimp height" and "crimp force monitor", which displays crimping condition of terminals one by one on the LCD screen. We take pride in these functions as KODERA has this very advanced technology. Terminal reels are placed under the body, so that it is made easy to change terminal reels, this makes the whole process more efficient.

Finally, the C551 is 65% downsized when comparing I to C451 A in capacity. It adopted what we call "whole screen LCD touch panel" and interactive operation

• Crimp Force Monitor- Crimp force monitor catches the information on crimping instantly.

• Grissless Head Unit- The built-in bearings with high accuracy completely omit griss-up maintenance

• Easy Stroke Dial- When stroking the ram slightly for the first setup, you can adjust it easily and quickly with this dial, no need to use the special wrench as before.

CRIMP FORCE MONITOR

The crimp force monitor shows pressure/hour (angle) in graphic form on the LCD control panel, (see above). Set the Basic Graph (blkue line) and decide the permissable level (yellow line). It displays the graph in order of processing (white line) and draws (red line) when it goes beyond the the permissable level (yellow line). The number of inferior goods is detected by hours (red circle).
