KIRSTEN PP3 WS
Pneumatic Wire Stripper and Wire/
Weather Seal Crimping Machine

Kirsten PP3 WS

Kirsten PP3 WS

The banded terminals can be left transversal or longitudal (rear) feed.  A seal scraper ensures the exact position on the wire before stripping and crimping.

With a bowl feeder and sorter the weather seals are brought into correct position.   Quick change over of bowl feeder, sorter and tool.

A programmable controller for the pneumatic system secures the process and its reproducibility.

Quick Change-Over Tool System
  • Two types of tools depending on banding: left transversal or longitudinal (rear) feed.
  • Tool change with 2 screws only.
  • Exact stepless adjustment of crimping height in seconds.
  • Insulation crimp separately adjustable in tool.
  • Stripping unit is part of the machine, no need to be exchanged.
  • Wearable parts are made of special hardened tool steel.
  • Exchange of wearable parts is very easy and fast due to "dove-tail" type guiding.
  • Tools are made according to specifications from terminal manufacturers individually for each terminal. No limitations in the selection of terminals.

The Flexible One

  • Addition of an automatic sorter and feeding unit with automatic positioning and placement of weather seals.
  • Upon touching the sensor with the wire initiating the machine, the weather seal is placed on the wire and exactly positioned in the crimping position.
  • Secured process.
  • Due to an intelligent, semi-automatic process, several operations are safely and reliably executed simultaneously with accuracy.
  • Most components are of the standard PP3, which minimises spare parts stocks.
