Motorised Drum Dereeler

The unit, designed as a strain free cable feeder, operates at speeds of 2m per sec, the coil being driven by four synchronised drive rollers on the outside diameter of the coil flange. Two drum centring cones are incorporated in the system to allow the processing of the coils if the flanges are damaged.

The unwinding system operates automatically with optical sensors (DHS 1000) or alternatively by a dancer control if preferred.

The system guarantees that the product is fed to the processing machine without any pull in the opposite direction and the concept eliminates the undesirable stretching of the cable and its insulation.

Optional power operated Drive Roller Adjustment to assist the loading and unloading of Cable Drums and Pneumatic Drum Lifter for cable drums up to 600 Kg are also available.
